The 2019 Coffee4Kids Charity Ball was a sensational night under the stars at Dockside, Darling Harbour.
Proudly supported by The Star, the event raised more than $29,000 for the Child Protection Unit at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead to allow caregivers to connect with their children in a more meaningful way.
Hosted by Channel 9’s Gabrielle Boyle, the night also featured a stirring rendition of ‘Fight Song’ by the children from Famous Performing Arts.
Christmas in July 2018
Santa Claus came to town…
In July, the NSW Rural Fire Service staff held a Christmas in July function to handover a cheque to the staff of the Child Protection Unit at The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
This cheque represents the funds raised at the Charity Ball held earlier in the year.
At the Christmas in July event, more than $800 was raised. This will also go towards the overall fundraising effort for the Child Protection Unit.
coffee4kids charity ball 2017
The Coffee4Kids Charity Ball was a magical evening of fun and games hosted by one of the most magical venues in Sydney, Luna Park. With live music, plenty of food and one of the best views in the city, we raised a bucket-load of money to support children in need.
All proceeds from the evening went towards funding a new initiative, Safe to Connect, Play and Grow - A Therapy Program for Children who have experienced Abuse or Trauma, run through the Child Protection Unit (CPU) at The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
The Safe to Connect, Play and Grow program would utilise the skills of an Occupational Therapist to provide sensory and play based interventions to parents and foster carers and the vulnerable babies/ children in their care.
